This project was carried out for a company operating in industrial equipment and technical products. It represents an end-to-end engagement covering the entire digital transformation process from establishing brand identity to launching the e-commerce platform. The company had a strong product catalog and customer base but lacked a digital sales infrastructure and a consistent corporate identity; both axes were built in parallel.

Problem

Companies operating in the industrial sector frequently encounter the same barrier in digital transformation: they have a strong product portfolio and a solid customer base, but lack a consistent brand identity and online sales infrastructure to support them. In this project, customers placed orders via phone or face-to-face meetings; a large portion of the sales workload consisted of handling catalog inquiries and order tracking. Inconsistent logo and color usage across different communications materials undermined corporate credibility. While competitors were becoming visible in digital channels, the company had no online presence.

Solution

The project was built on two core axes. In the first phase, a comprehensive brand guide was prepared: logo usage rules, color palette, typography choices, and the application of visual elements across different surfaces were defined. Corporate materials were derived from this guide: product brochures, employee business cards, and trade show stand banners were prepared in CMYK color profiles compliant with offset printing standards. In the second phase, a B2B e-commerce platform was developed; custom data structures were created with the specific needs of selling technical industrial products in mind — detailed specification fields, PDF technical document support, and a B2B order structure. Payment gateway integration was completed.

Key Features

  • Comprehensive Brand Guide: A complete reference guide containing logo usage rules, color palette, typography, and application examples; a single source of truth for all future communications materials
  • Technical Product Catalog: Detailed specification fields specific to industrial products, technical drawing support, and PDF data sheet upload
  • Advanced Search and Filtering: Filtering by product code, category, brand, and technical specifications; an interface matched to B2B buyer search habits
  • Payment Integration: Credit card, wire transfer, and virtual POS support
  • Corporate Customer Accounts: B2B order history, invoice management, and bulk order convenience; a dedicated experience for corporate buyers
  • Print Materials: Brochures, business cards, and trade show banners; CMYK files ready for offset printing

Technical Infrastructure

The platform was developed with PHP and Tailwind CSS. It became evident that standard e-commerce data models were insufficient for technical industrial products: custom data structures were created for technical drawing files, PDF data sheets, and multi-dimensional technical specification filtering. The virtual POS application and integration process was managed on behalf of the client. The inventory management module was equipped with low-stock alerts and out-of-stock product display options; these features communicate supply issues common in industrial products to the customer before purchase.

Results

With this project, the company transitioned from a fragmented physical presence to a consistent and scalable digital identity. The brand guide became a permanent reference point that saves time for every piece of communications material the company produces. The B2B e-commerce platform began operating as a sales channel where customers can research and order products, largely freeing the sales side from routine catalog inquiries and phone orders. The online presence positioned the company as visible and accessible among competitors.
