Website Speed Optimization
Improve LCP, INP and CLS with Core Web Vitals focused website speed optimization that strengthens SEO and user experience.

Is your site not loading within a few seconds? Google penalizes you and your visitors leave. Research shows that 53% of visitors abandon a site when the page load time exceeds 3 seconds. Especially for mobile users, every extra second noticeably reduces the conversion rate; both search engine rankings and customer acquisition are directly tied to speed.
Our Solution Approach
At Barlas Dijital, we base speed optimization on measurement, not guesswork. We first analyze the current state with PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, and WebPageTest, identify bottlenecks, and determine priority intervention points. With Google’s Core Web Vitals metrics — LCP, INP, and CLS — at the center, we apply technical improvements in layers. Progress is reported transparently with before-and-after measurements for every intervention.
Scope & Features
- Image optimization — Conversion to WebP and AVIF formats, lazy loading, and responsive images implementation
- JavaScript and CSS optimization — Minification, bundling, tree-shaking, and code-splitting
- Render-blocking resource removal — Critical CSS inlined, blocking scripts deferred
- CDN and edge caching — Cloudflare configuration; static content served from global edge nodes
- Font loading strategy — font-display: swap, subsetting, and preload optimization
- Server response time (TTFB) improvement — HTTP/2, keep-alive, and server-side cache configuration
- Third-party script management — Analysis of the load impact of analytics, chat, and ad scripts, and deferral strategy
- Service worker and caching policies — Zero-download target on repeat visits
Technical Standards
Every optimization project is executed using the baseline score measured by PageSpeed Insights and Lighthouse. Targets: Lighthouse performance score 85+, LCP below 2.5 seconds, CLS below 0.1. Combining Cloudflare CDN with modern frameworks such as Astro or Next.js allows the highest possible performance ceiling to be reached.
Who Is It For?
- E-commerce and service sites with high mobile traffic but suffering from a high bounce rate
- Sites with a Google PageSpeed score below 50 that need speed improvements for SEO ranking
- Corporate web applications where user experience and conversion rate are directly impacted
Target Outcomes and Measurement
- Where the technical stack allows it, Lighthouse 85+ and green Core Web Vitals thresholds are targeted and documented with before-and-after reports
- Mobile bounce rate, session duration, and page views are monitored through analytics rather than treated as guaranteed outcomes
- Technical barriers affecting crawling and user experience are removed; organic traffic and ranking impact are evaluated alongside content, competition, and search intent
- On e-commerce and lead-generation pages, the effect of speed work on conversion is measured through form, sales, and analytics data
Frequently Asked Questions
Is a specific PageSpeed score guaranteed at the end of the work?
We set targets rather than guarantees. Where the technical stack allows it, we target a Lighthouse performance score of 85+, LCP below 2.5 seconds and CLS below 0.1. What is achievable depends on the existing infrastructure and becomes clear after the baseline measurement.
How do you measure and report the speed gain?
The work is based on measurement, not guesswork. The current state is first analyzed with PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse and WebPageTest, and that baseline score is used as the reference; every intervention is reported with before-and-after measurements. Bounce rate, session duration and page views are also monitored through analytics.
Will speed work raise our Google ranking?
Speed work removes the technical barriers that affect crawling and user experience. Organic traffic and ranking, however, do not depend on speed alone; the impact is evaluated alongside content, competition and search intent.
Do we have to remove the analytics and chat scripts that slow the site down?
Removing them is not required. The load impact of analytics, chat and ad scripts is analyzed and a deferral strategy is applied. Blocking scripts are deferred on the same principle and critical CSS is inlined.
