What is e-Reconciliation (e-Mutabakat)?
Turkish: e-Mutabakat
e-Reconciliation digitizes account balance and transaction confirmations with customers or suppliers, including sending, tracking, replies, and reporting.
What is e-Reconciliation (e-Mutabakat)?
e-Reconciliation (e-Mutabakat) is a digital process for confirming account balances, invoice totals, or period transactions with customers and suppliers. Instead of paper, phone calls, or scattered emails, reconciliation requests are sent through a system, responses are tracked, and reports are produced.
How It Works
The accounting or ERP system prepares customer and supplier balances. The e-Reconciliation system sends an email, SMS, or portal link to the other party. The recipient accepts the balance, rejects it, or enters an explanation for the difference. Responses are routed to the accounting team; unresolved differences are investigated through invoices, payments, exchange rate entries, or other documents.
Business Use
Monthly account confirmation, year-end closing checks, and dealer or supplier balance verification are common use cases. In businesses with many accounts, the team can see who responded, which differences remain open, and which requests need reminders from one list.
When connected with accounting integration, e-Invoice, and tools such as Parasut, reconciliation data stays current without manual copying. The balance date and currency must be explicit in every request.
