What is GİB Integration?

Turkish: GİB Entegrasyonu

GİB integration connects ERP or accounting software to Turkish e-Belge channels for e-Fatura, e-Arşiv, and related tax document workflows.

What is GİB Integration?

GİB integration connects a company’s ERP, accounting, or sales system with the Turkish Revenue Administration’s e-Belge ecosystem. The goal is to create, send, and track documents such as e-Fatura, e-Arşiv, and e-İrsaliye through software instead of relying only on manual portal work.

How Does It Work?

Companies usually operate through one of three paths: the GİB portal, a special integrator, or direct integration. On the software side, invoice data is prepared, converted into the required document format, signed with the appropriate certificate or financial seal, and sent through the selected channel. Acceptance, rejection, error, cancellation, and objection statuses are then tracked in the business system.

A good integration is not only about sending documents. Customer matching, tax rate checks, document numbering, archiving, error-code handling, and reconciliation should be designed together with accounting integration.

Business Use

GİB integration is important for companies in Turkey with high invoice volume or mandatory e-document obligations. e-Fatura requirements, special integrator selection, test environments, and user permissions should be clarified at the beginning of the project.

Because this is Turkey-specific, regulatory updates and official technical guides need to be followed alongside the software implementation.
